Against my better judgement, I am liking this thing enough that I may end up test driving one. I like that you can spec the manual and AWD together in the Latitude trim an add on the sunroof. But I don’t have too high of hopes. I’ve driven the 2.4/Auto combination on the Renegade and the 2.4 was the worst part. It was unrefined and felt like a pig. Maybe the manual can help with that.

There was a red/black Compass Trailhawk at the Jeep dealership yesterday when I got the wife’s oil changed. Already had temp tags on it, sitting in the service area.

If we get one in with AWD and a stick I might have to test drive it. Its a LOT smaller in person than I thought it would be, but there’s plenty of interior space.

Maybe it won’t be as bad as the 1.4T. The turbo lag is terrible. I am curious to drive it too but really wish they put more power in these things.

Yeah the Renegade impressed me with packaging, so I expect this to also. The rest was a letdown, but they’ve had 2 years to hopefully improve things.

Possibly an unpopular opinion, but I don’t mind fake grilles like this.
